How does the lamp write words on the wall?
The words for above and below are cut through the top and bottom of the lamp like a stencil. One small LED inside shines out through them, so the letters show up big and sharp on the wall right behind the lamp. Letters with holes (O, A, R…) keep their middles on thin bars.
What light does it use?
One 5 V USB point LED (warm or cool white) on a pillar inside, facing the wall. It runs from any phone charger or USB port. Choose "With LED" to get the LED and a USB adapter, or "Ready to use" and we fit and test it for you.
How do I hang it?
Flat on the wall, on two nails or screws through the keyholes inside the top. The wall right behind the lamp is the screen, so a plain light wall works best, and the room should be dim to see the words clearly.
How big is it?
The lamp is 95 mm tall and 50 mm deep; its width follows the word on the front (15 to 24 cm). The words on the wall can be 2.5 to 8 cm tall.
Can I print it myself?
Yes. Log in and download the 3MF (body + light colour, lying face down as it prints, no supports) or a zip of STLs. You need a printer that prints two colours, like one with an AMS.
