Is it free?
Designing and the 3D preview are always free. To download the files, log in to your LayerBit account: the first 10 days of downloads are free (they start with your first download), then it is ₹49 for 30 days of unlimited downloads (no GST). Buying again adds another 30 days.
Which style should I pick?
Acrylic face · Printed back is the classic lit channel letter: a closed printed box with an acrylic face resting on a ledge inside. Open back is the same with a PVC sheet on the back. On top glues the acrylic over the walls. Printed face is fully 3D printed (translucent PLA face). Backlit halo has a solid front and glows on the wall behind it. Solid letter is for signs without light.
Do the letters need supports?
No. Every part already lies the way it prints, and the ledge under the face has a 45° slope, so it prints on any FDM printer without supports.
Can I use my logo?
Yes. Choose Logo / SVG and upload an SVG (cleanest) or a big PNG or JPG of a one-colour logo. Very thin lines are left out because a wall needs room.
Which file do I use on the laser cutter?
The SVG or DXF is drawn at real size in millimetres with red hairline cut lines. Import it at 100% into LightBurn, RDWorks or your CAD software.
How big can the letters be?
Each letter is its own part, so the whole sign can be much wider than the printer. A single letter has to fit on the 250 mm print bed; pieces that are too big turn red.
Can LayerBit make it for me?
Yes. Open Export and tap “Want us to make it?” to send your design on WhatsApp; we will print the letters, cut the faces and quote you.
