How is the LED sign made?
A dark 3D printed body follows the shape of your text with a border around it. White (or coloured) diffusers fill the letter windows and stand a few mm out of the front. An LED strip runs round the inside wall, and a back plate closes it with two keyholes to hang it on screws.
What is in the LED kit?
The LED strip in your LED colour (60 LEDs per metre, cut to your sign), a DC jack and the right adapter (5 V for most signs, 12 V for big ones). With "Ready to hang" we fit and wire everything and test it, so you only hang it and plug it in.
How big can it be?
From 20 to 90 cm wide, up to about 24 cm tall. Signs wider than our printer are printed in pieces that glue together; the back plate is cut in other places, so it holds the joints.
Can I use my logo?
Yes. Choose "Logo" and upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. Bold logos in one colour work best: very thin lines are left out because they cannot light up.
How much power does it use?
The tool shows the strip length, the number of LEDs and the power under the 3D view. A typical 40 cm sign uses about 1 m of strip, around 5 W.
Can I make it myself?
Yes. Log in and download the 3MF (every part lying as it prints, no supports needed) or a zip of STLs. Print the body and back plate in your body colour and the diffusers in white with 2 walls and 10–15% infill, so the light gets through.
